Meet our newest Content Hero, Alasdair Swan.
Based in the North of England, Alasdair has been a creator from an early age. With a life-long interest in art, drawing and painting, Alasdair extended his creativity to the world of photography several years ago.
We caught up with Alasdair recently to find out a little more about his journey.
– What motivated you to become a photographer ?
I have always had a keen interest in art and love the creativity that photography allows me.
– What subjects do you like to take photos of ?
I began with landscapes and wildlife but over the years I tried to broaden my portfolio and challenge myself to do street and portrait photography, and even a wedding!
– What’s your favourite photo you have taken and why ?
One of my favourite photos was one I shot at Tarn Hows on a cold winter morning. The winter light, the frost and the early morning mist gave the image an almost magical quality.
– What new subjects would you like to attempt in the future ?
As for new subjects, I enjoy things that challenge me and take me out of my comfort zone. I would like to do more street photography, portrait work and definitely a wedding or two!
